My personal theory after Mac�s and Webb�s little conversation at the caf�?

Webb has reached his burn out point and just doesn�t give a damn if he lives or dies anymore. (Make you wonder what happened since we saw him in NTK. ) I think Webb is hoping Mac can do for him what she�s done for Harm on a couple occasions.

Mainly pull him back from the edge.

I not sure if I�m the only one that noticed but this �has- to be the sloppiest operation I�ve EVER seen Webb handle. That includes all the ones that blew up in Webb�s face.

Talking openly with both Mac and Webb using their real names in the hotel room? They didn�t even check to see if the place was bugged? Much less looking to see if someone might be across the street with a listening device. Anyone remember the couple of times Harm was in a situation like that? I believe the conversation QUICKLY got jumped in to the bathroom and the shower got turned on really fast to help cover conversations. Was I the only one missing Harm in that hotel scene? What I wouldn�t have given to see either Webb or Mac show a little�.and I do mean a little�Harm like caution/paranoia. Mac and Webb were both coming off as amateurs.

Geesh you would have thought some of Harm�s paranoia would have rubbed off on Mac by now.

Webb putting up with the driver that messing up his name. Since when did Clay start putting up with total incompetence? Mac slipped on the name thing a few times too.

Webb letting Mac bring her Diamond Reference book to the meet? What happened if they searched the car? Clay doesn�t usually make major screw up�s like that one. You�d think Mac would have at least thought not to bring it along. You know just in case.

Can anyone say �Train Wreck�?
