Well, the RDOL has a point here. IMHO, TPTB are jerking shipperchains in a VERY deliberate manner, because they KNOW we are eventually--relatively soon, JAGwise--gunna get what we want. They are making us work for it, giving us some meaningless diversionary forks in the road. Harm finally did get what he wanted, likely much faster than he would have had he NOT gone along w/Cathrine. I don't think he could have taken her to bed and looked at himself in the mirror in the morning, knowing why he did it. And I don't think he could have faced Mac either. Imagine how he would have felt, say, if she went to bed with Sokol to get information about his father? Also, I think he has a gruding respect for Cathrine, he wouldn't use her like that. Just short of it, yeah. IMO, it was very telling when she said if she'd known Mac was involved she would have done something earlier. Do I agree that the storyline was ridiculous. You bet. Sigh....I don't mean to be so negative, but I watched that kiss again....and it was full blown romantic. No way was that fake. I think that TPTB are getting back at all the annoying shippers who bug them. There was no need for that kiss at all. In Answered Prayers he gave Mac a peck. Well, I must admit, I will probably always fast forward over that part, like I do over Bugme's proposal in BII. Or that tussel on the sofa w/the VP. Or Bugme kissing Mac. Or, well, anything that isn't shippy. Frankly, I think Mumsy was the worst of the lot. I mean, even if you WERE planning on getting married, do you want to remember your wedding at your mother's deathbed? PLEASE! I had a friend who was engaged & found out her mother was dying. She wanted to get married at her mother's bedside, but her mother said "no". Mother wanted the daughter to be married in a happier setting, not at her deathbed, even though the mother knew she wouldn't be alive to see it. And that's what did happen & it was a beautiful wedding with quotes from the mother read during the service - thoughts she spoke before she died about her wishes for her daughter's happiness. Thanks, Cece, for your opinion about the ep. I too hated it � or rather Harm�s storyline � but I was chicken to say it first since everyone else seemed to love it. It was like a bad soap opera & the TPTB were jerking our shipper chains. Sorry, Judi, I didn�t see his concern for Mac & I didn�t see that finding Mac was his motivation for the wedding. Thought it would be a "quid pro quo" business arrangement, but it seemed more like he was caught up with another beautiful woman, enjoying "the chase" & kissing her. I�m not sure I want H&M together now. (NT) --

I agree that harm has to find mac, but i don't really think thats why he continued the charade. I think he did it because thats the type of person he is, willing to help those in need. Yeah, he tried to get out of it, but then the Mom made a request and it just kept steam rolling along. He knew it wasn't a real marriage, and making a dying woman happy. Was it the right thing to do, some will say yes, some will say no. But I think he's still ready to try and find Mac! Lauri you Harmy girl you I agree,CG was really into it & somewhat embrassed at the end & him took the ride & he was sort of cocky (forgive the pun) about it & he knew he had her.
