I am a shipper, for want of a better designation. By that I mean that I want to see Harm and Mac become romantically involved in a hot steamy heart stopping, pulse drumming, thigh weakening, blood draining, nerve enticing, breathless, erotic, sensuous, sublime, euphoric scene..and for me, a nice long soft wet open mouth kiss would do it.

But...in the absense of the above, I want a good show with Harm in it as a human being, whom I can admire and in whom I am interested. And boy..did this episode deliver.

The writing was tight, the dialougue was sharp, and the working relationship between Manneti and Harm was professional. Most of all, the story line was compelling and believable.

Singer and Harriet were very good. I don't like Harriet...I make no bones about it. But that's ok. I don't have to like every character. But her scene with Singer was played perfectly. Harriet was quiet and understanding. She wasn't trying to pressure Singer nor was she judgemental. She was offering Singer a shoulder withoug becoming mawkish.

And Singer's delivery was poignant, and her facial expression spoke elequenly of her inner stress which is bordering on despair.

The shower scene showed that Manneti is a very beautiful woman indeed, who is certainly not oblivious to Harm's obvious attractiveness. There was a certain amount of sexual frisson there...good grief there had better be. But it was not sexual tension..and there is a difference. These profession people who must work and travel together, have to be able to handle their sexual awareness under sometimes unusual circumstances. And Harm and Manneti showed that they enjoyed the moment..and then let it pass.

However, I woulnn't mind if there was somethink happened with Harm and another woman, just because the impasse with Mac is getting old and boring. I'm not saying I want Harm and/or Mac to have an SO, but I would like to see something cause a little bit of jealousy..or some friction, that will keep the months between shipper moments, at least interesting.

Which brings me to Mac. I love Mac and am glad that she is the object of Harm's desires..at least I hope she is. But tonight I did not miss her. Recently, TPTB have given us part of what we want, that is Harm and Mac working together. But it has become stale. They are together for no other reason except they work in the same office. This week was so refreshing to see Harm work solidly with another person, and I'm sure I'll enjoy Mac more when she returns. If we have no sparring, and no adventure, then there is no sexual tension. Harm and Mac have become like a pair of comfortable slippers...and I for one don't like having slippers in my fantasies. And I don't want to be a shipper for slippers...lol.

Great great episode. Oh and did I mention that Harm looked amazing in his winter blues, complete with hat? OMG..the Navy should sign him on in their real ad campaigns.

Oh yean...just in my opinion of course.
