There would be no prohibition on her staying in the Navy with a child as a single mother. There are many. She would merely have to show that she had an adaquate plan in place for childcare should she be deployed, ie, the baby would go live with her parents, sister, or whatever. Even Harriet and Bud, as a married couple who are both in the military would have to make this proviso, the only time you don't is if one spouse is a civilian. I agree with you, Judi! There is no way that Singer will have an abortion. She'll have to contend with "Uncle Harm" with that.
