The picture frame comes from the story of the Gift of the Magi. It's told in various forms, and I can't remember the one I always knew (something about a lamp) but someone just told in on a list as a man sells his watch to buy his wife and expensive comb for her hair, and the woman cuts her hair and sells it to buy a chain for the watch. It's a story of ultimate love and sacrifice. Mac bought Harm a picture frame, and he gave her a picture that would fit in that frame. (NT) -- Jen, 22:40:33 12/17/02 Tue

Ok, Lu, I'll tell you again. Harm gave Mac a picture of himself nekkid and that's why she and Coates were looking so closely at it in the office. (NT) -- judi who wishes they would have shown us, 22:48:40 12/17/02 Tue

The pix & frame is also symbolic of the ongoing theme this year to show how they are "thinking" alike & thus becoming close as a couple without anyone saying so. Just like starting & finishing each other’s sentences. The pix itself spoke shipper volumes - her leaning on him & his arm around her, both smiling. A reminder of a happy time for them. And since their mission wasn’t fun, then them posing for a pic that way meant something more personal to them – say finding romance during a night in a minefield? One more point about the pic & frame – the fact that she gave him a frame meant that she expected him to display it. Where? At the office - well, it would certainly be fodder for gossip! At his apartment - well, that will certainly temper any hot dates he brings home because one look at that photo will tell you who’s got his heart! (NT) -- Araninda, 23:20:08 12/17/02 Tue

She gave him a frame. She had NO IDEA what it was he would put in it. he could put a photo of him Mom .... or Sergei ....... or his new 'vette'. But I know how you shipperfolk like to get carried away! LOLOLOL!!! (NT) -- MichelleB, 08:49:04 12/18/02 Wed

Ding, Ding, Ding I just had a thought. I think the picture was Harm's way of reminding Mac of what she felt when Harm threw his leg over her in Afghanistan. (NT) -- JP, 23:47:34 12/17/02 Tue
