This may be a little sacreligious, but I just had to share. When they were singing that around Bud's Piano, my DH asked if that was the Message Board Theme Song this week! LOL!

So at last count, just how many Christmas metaphors were in this one????

Let's see . . .

~Harm is Rudolph (especially after a few of those burbons he's fond of)
~The Admiral has a gift for "inspiring" women to be pregnant in his presence (Admiralic Conception??? - Meredith is hoping so!)
~Bud is (Not-so-Tiny)Tim
~Tiner is the annoying Herbie the Dentist (but even Herbie learned his dentist stuff from a book - hasn't Tiner ever heard of Dr. Spock?) If anyone belonged on the Island of Misfit Toys (I hear it's right next to HABNDII! LOL)

Other observations:
~Boone has a Scrooge moment when he's faced with the memory of "Christmas Past"
~The Three "Kings" from the East can't decide if they're going east or west! (actually from Dulles, Falls Church is EAST, but that's beside the point)
~Mac's hair looked much better than last year, tho her blouse was a tad tight. One of these days her hair and clothes will BOTH look good on the same night!
~I know I'm really worried to think that Santa runs around as a GYN MD in his spare time! I might find myself on the "naughty" list! LOL
~Hooray for Coates! So nice to see her at HQ. Tiner needed another enlisted person to haggle w/ since Gunny's gone. Of course, SHE'LL be the one haggling, Tiner will be OGLING! LOL
~Boone looked like a homeless man in that knit hat. Bad choice, wardrobe! A nice fedora-style hat would have been much better.
~Does it ever NOT snow in DC at Christmas on TV???

Harm was hot, awesome, gorgeous! As I said the other day, with Harm around, it *IS* a Wonderful Life!

My favorite scene:
When the tailhook falls off the COD - Oops! LOL!

And the best line of the whole ep:
CAG: Don't try to soften me out of a perfectly reasonable level of resentment! LOLOL!

I liked it - it was fun, funny at times, tied up nicely at the end, and of course kept my interest. If I had to choose between this and Answered Prayers (from last year), I like AP better for the story and Chaplain Turner at the end and the Vette and Harm in that trench coat . . . *sigh*! But this was very nice, too!
