Ha! TPTB should pay me some royalties for this ep! ;) Since I read Kip' spoilers about a "surprise" for Bud and Harriet, I said it was a pregnancy. And the look on Bud's face when he told Big Bud he would be a granddaddy again (loved that look on Big Bud's face, btw) confirmed my point- he was trying to demostrate his conceiving abilities because he lost a leg, not his virility.

The Warrant Officer Scogging Scrooge-like story was a little bit dragged on (in Puerto Rican Spanish, "traido por los pelos"), because the scene at the offcie when he was all alone semed to be cut and/or unfinished, but I was touched at the end when he explained why he was all grumpy. That's the reality of many divorced parents during holidays. My own father has never been able to share a holiday with the kids from his second marriage because the mother refuses to send them on a plane here (9-11 is now her excuse), and because of his work (sous-chef at a restaurant), he can't take holiday vacations. That's why he almost missed my own birth...but that's another story (hillarious, btw).

The worrying-Mac-calling-Harm scene was another one "traida por los pelos". IMO, totally out of place. Her worryimg look was enough; it didn't need a calling. After all he was landing at an air base, he wasn't at home.

I must confess I rooted at Meredith when she played the piano and didn't hurt any eardrum. A Christmas miracle!

The Marine, his wife and the baby scene with the three Saudi diplomats was very tender. I really liked it. I had to laugh at the "I bought this incense at the airport, it's the only thing I have to offer" (a little "traida por los pelos" too). But it's true that Arabians are very hospitalable (sp?) people, despite the image that some other people give to the world. The Islam recognizes the Immaculate Conception of Jesus (because they consider him a prophet) and the figure of Mary as a blessed for being visited by an angel (it also recognizes angels as divine messengers).

Coates and Tiner? Hmmmm... I think they make a nice couple.

The scene of Adm. Boone at the Vietman Wall was excellent. After all, he witnessed the moment Rabb, Sr. was shot down. His face said it all.

And Harm giving his wings to the young Navy graduate... He was like Santa Claus rewarding a kid for being nice, and Boone for his good deeds.

I knew Harm wouldn't have another crash, but I feared the USS Coral Sea skipper would do something bad to him. Now I'm beginning to think he's related to the surprising thing that Harm will have to face in some futire episode. But I'll leave it to Minerva and SK.

Overall, it was a nice episode. And Harm got to please me wearing my favorite uniform. :)
