You're on to something that's been rambeling aroung in my head. I think that Harm brings something else to the table in the 'pilot' investigations -- he brings his experience as pilot. This gives him a point of view very different from a JAG officer w/out his experience. What many seem to call bias, I've always seen as Harm using his mind and all his talents to come up with a theory/solution etc. (NT) -- Carol, 15:57:42 02/12/03 Wed

What an excellent observation and an excellent post CQ. If Harm can be blamed for anything, it is not impartiality for pilots. Harm gets angry when pilots mess up, particularly when carelessness results in the loss of life. And when he was on the bench, trying to prove he could be impartial, he went to great lengths to test himself. The impartiality was more about working with Mac than the accused. She DID knock him off kilter somewhat, as he had done with her. Those two should not be working in the same courtroom when one is judge of the other...if only for the appearance of justice. Great post, CQ!! Has Harm ever prosecuted a pilot? And what was the outcome? (NT) -- judi, 18:57:38 02/12/03 Wed

I'm not sure Judi. I've been trying to think of a time when he has, and I can't. But then, he usually is the defense anyway--pilot or not. His drive for the truth mentality is just better suited for defense. (NT) -- CQ, 20:04:36 02/12/03 Wed

Ha ha, tonight Blindside was on USA and he prosecuted the pilot in that!!! I posted this 2 sec before the ep came on. LOL (NT) -- judi, 20:05:42 02/12/03 Wed

I was wondering about that one, but I thought maybe he defended. (NT) -- CQ, 20:22:25 02/12/03 Wed
