Lee -- It's perfectly proper for judges to ask questions when either they are confused or they think the jury is confused. Depending on the judge some are more active than others. I thought Harm acted in character here. One thing I thought of is that judges also have some power to call their own witnesses (I can't remember the rules here) -- I wondered why he didn't do that. awesome observations but anyway, our Navy Seal hero AJ will have his moronic turn next week.I could be wrong but TPTB;s forte is to have the characters we care about as punching bags.Im still holding them a grudge about my AJ kissing Mac and slapping that kid.Ay caramba. In the preview, Harm says uncommanded ejection. Now, it is RARE, but ejection seats have fired because of malfunctions. There is no reason to assume that AJ is going to look like an idiot. Also, there are other errors that can occur that certainly, while mistakes, don't make the person look like a twit. Remember, this is an unfamiliar enviorment for him. AJ jumped out of helos and transports, he didn't fly fighters. It's a different ballgame with differing needs. Just because something 'happens' it doesn't necessarily make him look bad. Lee, I would tend to agree with you in this. AJ the PERSON slapped the kid, not Admiral Albert Jethro Chegwidden the Judge Advocate General of the Navy. Was it his finest hour, no. Was it understandable, yes. Unfortunately, when it happened he was in uniform and being filmed, otherwise it would have been a tempest in a teapot. (NT) -- CM>^.,.^<, 08:59:36 02/12/03 Wed

You know I never held AJ slapping that kid as ‘trashing’ his character. (Inside) -- Lee, 06:09:40 02/12/03 Wed

To paraphrase, I think John Wayne, that kid should have been slapped and often (NT) -- spud, 09:24:39 02/12/03 Wed

Spud, I love John Wayne, but I never heard him say that. What movie was that from. Could you be thinking of Clark Gable from Gone With the Wind telling Vivian Leigh 'You ought to be kissed and kissed often' (NT) -- judi,
