Subject: In a fit of madness, I'm gonna try this out. Here's a mini-review I posted elsewhere right after this episode aired

First--a mini synopsis (to go with my mini review)

Harm and Mac defend a guy accused of deserting and going to fight for the Israeli army. Bud comes home and starts to come to terms with losing his leg.

Now, the review:

Not bad. I've seen better episodes, I've seen worse.

Bud seems in REALLY good spirits for someone who just lost a leg. I'm glad the writers are going the route they're going with this. Too many times, you see the person giving up on life and being angry. I'm sure Bud's angry about what happened but, hey, at least he (and Harriet) are grateful that he's alive. That's what you've got to hang onto in a situation like that.

How cute were Harm and Mac in the Chinese food scene???? I had to go back and re-watch it and, oh my! They're thinking SO ALIKE. This is a good thing. It is just so cute how they're starting and ending each other's sentences.

I didn't quite get the case though. I think the guy got off pretty lightly for someone who deserted in a time of war. I don't know, I think that actor wasn't very compelling in the role. I didn't really care what happened to him.

Singer, well, she continues to find new lows. I was starting to have some hope for her character's character. If she's managed to make Sturgis mad at her though, there's no hope left for her at JAG. I think AJ's right to transfer her out of there. She just doesn't fit in with the rest of the people at JAG HQ.

Someone needs to tell Meredith that there are things she just can't do. She sings almost as bad as my mother who's tone deaf! I do like that she's not afraid to try things and make a fool of herself. She needs a bit of self-restraint. Meredith and AJ make a good couple though.
