Boomerang, Part I – Season 5

What It's About

Harm is called to Sydney, Australia to help investigate a thirty-year-old murder case, involving both Aussie and American sailors, but the case has unexpected consequences.

Reasons to Watch – Harm in summer whites, Harm in dress blues, Harm learning parallel parking. For this special episode (and its conclusion), the better part of the action was filmed on locations in and around Sydney, but that's not the only "reason to watch." The murder case itself has some interesting wrinkles to be ironed out, and Harm is once again butting heads with his least favorite adversary, Mic Brumby – in more ways than one.

Reasons to Tape – Most television shows don't make it to 100 episodes. When you consider that the average show does 22 episodes per season, simple math would tell you that a show has to get well into its fifth season to even come close. So it is with JAG. JAG's 100th features some nice scenery, snappy dialog and a three-way rivalry that has the Admiral chuckling with amusement and wishing he could be there to see it play out. Besides opposing each other in the murder case, Harm and Mic will once again vie for the attentions of a certain Marine Colonel in a way that will set up one of the single most talked about conversations in the history of JAG.

But, you can’t know where you’re going until you find out where you’ve been. Tune in to “Boomerang I” and get yourself ready for “Boomerang II.” It’s a keeper.
