10. To Russia With Love (Season 3, Episode #61, Production #081) and Gypsy Eyes (Season 4, Episode #62, Production #064)

Original air date of To Russia With Love: May 19, 1998
Written by: Larry Moskowitz
Directed by: Tony Wharmby

Original air date of Gypsy Eyes: September 22, 1998
Written by: Donald P. Bellisario
Directed by: Tony Wharmby

It’s not surprising these two episodes tied in votes. This was probably JAG’s first real cliff-hanger and, at that time, one of the more shipper of episodes. You cannot talk about TWRL without including GE—-these episodes flowed with continuity from the moment Harm received the photo right down to the resolution in the final scene.

Fan commentary:

The two combined episodes run the entire spectrum of emotions for me. You have the UST, happiness, sadness, grief and love. But most of all................. You have those mega tight jeans and no VPL!!!!

. . . because of DJE's acting skills; particularly at the end of the episode when learning the fate of his father. Those eyes, his expressions, his body movements ...........I felt every bit of his pain and sorrow.
