 Approx. 3 miles south of the inlet lies the Nustra Sanora de la Nieves site from the 1715 fleet... with NNE winds blowing now could be a good time to hunt the beach. Also known as The Gold Wreck. I wear a nice piece of eight that was found there! Many items have been found there thru the years. Anywhere down Hutchingson island would be good anywhwere there are cuts and especially dark sand / black / look long and hard and you will find goodies!
