OOC: Sorry about taking so long. I would have liked to post this this morning, but I was busy all day.

IC: Septfoil led the Nepenthes rabbits through the forest. It wasn't exactly the shortest way to the Eye of Inlé, but it provided enough opportunities to get undercover if elil showed up. He didn't want to lose any of his rabbits on the way to battle!

Thormantle kept alert, looking for landmarks that Grayfire mentioned in his report. He looked back at his rabbits with pride. None of them seemed tired yet (SFL). With any luck they'd be able to start their attack on Nepenthes without resting first. After all, the less time they spent around the warren, the better.

He led them up a small hill in the field, stopping at the top. He started to get a bad feeling in his stomach, and couldn't figure out what it was at first. All he knew was that he shouldn't let the others see it, lest they view it as a sign of weakness.

He sniffed the air, noticing for the first time the moisture it carried. It was going to rain soon, and Thormantle took his feeling to mean that it was going to storm. He did not like being outside in a storm, and assumed that the others wouldn't either. But thoughts of the attack re-entered his mind, and he felt like it'd be worth it to brave the storm to keep the attack on schedule. Besides, he wasn't going to disappoint his rabbits' lust for battle!

Septfoil stopped and sniffed the air as well. "Rain" he thought. "It might pose a problem. We're not close enough to their warren yet."

They were nearing the edge of the forest. Septfoil was debating whether to have them dig scrapes until the approaching storm passes or push on. He was about to ask Lymthiltlay, who seem to have been serving as his second in command so far, but a sight startled him. A mixture of emotions hit him at once. Fear. Anger. Resolve. All three influnced him, but it was the last that he acted on.

He had seen Thormantle on the hill, an event too good to be true. Although it meant that his fears of an attack by them were justified, it also meant that he wouldn't tire his rabbits out on the trek to Eye of Inlé.

He stopped his rabbits and turned to them to address them. "There's been a slight change of plans. Our enemy has come to us. We will attack them, and when we win we'll push on to their warren!" he said emphatically. "I know you're all prepared, and now is the time! Attack!" he yelled, turning and running out of the forest toward the Eye of Inlé group.

Thormantle started to lead his rabbits down the hill when he heard the Nepenthes attack. "So much the better..." he thought quickly.

Without looking at his group, he simply told them "Attack! Our enemy is here!" He ran down to face the Nepenthes rabbits, heading toward Septfoil in particular.
