((gah, sorry i couldn't post earlier. got distracted before school, 'course no time during.. now i'm killing time til my music lesson..))

Turquoise-tressed femme shakes her head slowly. "I wish it were so simple as you seem to think it all is. The past may be something we should be able to escape from, but we simply cannot. We have been molded into the people we are today by the events of the past. It defines our every moment of existence. We cannot be part of mainstream society. We barely exist in our obscure little tributary." She sighs, hating every word of this conversation. With a shrug she follows Kimberly. "I 'spose I could do that.. though I gotta ask ya... well, why me?" She'd hardly encountered the young femme and didn't understand why she should be the one to be turned to when someone was needed.
