Date Posted: 18:13:37 06/17/02 Mon  This is Bunny's Pic Jess jumped out of her Mom's jeep at KDS and ran into the barn.She grabed a lead rope and headed for the paddocks.She walked up to the gait of a mare paddock and looked around for her new pony,mare Bunny.She saw the chestnut mare grazing happily in a corner of the pasture.Jess smiled and walked into through the gait and over to the cute pony.Bunny pulled her head up as she senced Jess coming closer.Jess clipped the lead rope onto her peach colored halter.She led Bunny back to the barn and clipped her into crossties.Jess groomed Bunny's silky coat and picked her hooves.Then Jess lifted the saddle off the rack and lifted it."Oh"said Jess Luaghing"you aren't excactly as big as Flurry are you"Jess said to Bunny pating the welsh ponie's neck.She settled the saddle onto the ponies back.then she tighned the girth and buckled on her helmet.Jess slipped the bridle over Bunny's Cute and delecate head.Then she led her pony out to the mounting block. Jess Stepped up and slipped lightly onto Bunny's back.The Welsh Pony walked forward eagerly ready to go.Jess warmed her up.All the while thinking hard."Gosh,your so good at every thing I can't decide what to do"Jess said leaning down to hug Bunny around the neck.As Jess sat up she looked at one of the funer X-country courses.She smiled happily and troted Bunny over to the beginning of the course.Jess lined Bunny up with the first jump,a 2'6 new age ditch.She dug her heels into bunny's sides and the 14.1 mare shot forward at a very speedy canter for a pony.Jess rose into two point as Bunny tucked her cute knee up under her and flew lightly over the fence.They took the rest of the course in pretty much the same way.The last set of jumps was a water combonation.Bunny splashed playfuly into the water and turned to face the jump,it was a 3'6 log with a 2ft deep pool on the other side and then a 3ft fence.Jess collected herself and bunny then let the pony out.Bunny still had energy"Man,Lauren was right when she told Mom that this pony always has energy"thought Jess as they aproched the fence.Bunny pushed off hard and soared gently over the log.then she hurtled towards the fence and and jumped it easly. Jess brought the energetic mare down to a trot and posted gently."Few,you really are an Energizer Bunny"Jess said laughing and smiling.They trotted back to the barn,where jess slid off bunny and led her into the barn.Jess untacked the pretty mare,who was leathered with sweat.Jess clipped her into the wash stall crossties and gave her a bath.Bunny stamped and snorted playfuly as the cool water sprayed on to her body.After Jess bathed Bunny she sweat scraped her and through a cooler on her back.Then turned her out and walked back to the barn.Jess cleaned her tack and put it away.Then she went outside and got her backpack from Jenny's office,where she had left it earlier.Jess sat down under a tree and did her home work,waiting for her mom to come and pick her up.
