The 2 horses totally ignored their riders and plunged into a shallow pool. "Hey!" Cassidy pulled Gent around as he waded into deeper water. Normally she wouldn't have minded going for a dip, but she wasn't wearing a bathing suit and her tack would get soaked...King was pawing the bottom and Suzie's eyes widened. "You better not roll!" she said, urging him back onto the bank. Cassidy laughed. "The other day my sister & I rode down to the lake and Princess rolled with her. Melanie was furious!" Cassidy grinned at the thought. The golden sunlight drifted through the canopy above, falling in dapples on Gent's silky black coat. The waterfall gurgled and rushed down the rocks into the crystal clear pool below. Birds chirped cheerfully. Cassidy took her boots out of the stirrups, loosened the reins, and leaned forwards, wrapping her arms around Gent's neck and closing her eyes. The stallion shifted his weight so that 1 of his hind legs was cocked. He closed his eyes and snorted loudly. How peaceful! Continue!
