The K-9 Hospice has been built for dogs on a model of simplicity, and we wish to keep it that way.
They depend on people just like you to help us provide the sanctuary so many dogs need. These Precious Pup's and 50 of their canine friends, urgently need your help! Gerald Laswell used up his life savings to build the K-9 Hospice.
For the past year, "the old man's dogs" have relied on Gerald's Social Security income - that pays his mortgage, groceries, all the usual. And somehow it must also stretch to cover vet bills, maintenance, dog houses, dishes, blankets, the occasional (but rare) dog toy, weekly Adoption Day needs, and 55 pounds of dog food a day. Every cent Gerald receives as a donation is a blessing.

Congratulations to all of the 2008 National Royalty. Nationals was a blast!! The hotel was very nice and the water park was fun as well. Thanks goes out to GDL Photography for taking our beautiful stage photos. Thank you Tami for helping out all weekend. Mary Elizabeth, Hannah, and Jacquelyn thank you for all your help throughout the weekend and at crowning. I am very proud to have you all as part of our Royalty Family. Marc, you did an awesome job with the music and setting up the ballroom. Cody and Shaunee, thank you for all the help that you gave me with the pageant. Wow! Mrs. Sara and Mrs. Sonya, we had so much fun at Christmas in July this year!!! I came hoping to take home a stocking full of gifts and I was thrilled when it happened!!!! When Mr. Tim called my name for Mini Supreme, I was so excited!!!! Thanks so much to Mrs. Nicki for warming me up before the pageant....that last minute beauty walk change did the trick!!! Beauty was my highest scoring event!!!! Thanks for believing in me. I could hear you calling me "Short Stuff" from stage and didn't even mind. I've even decided that can be my new nick name (or Nicki Name lol) since you came up with it for me. Wow...I couldnt believe it when I was called for an Overall title. Being out of the pageant game for over a year and a half, I never dreamed I would do that well.
