Subject: Omni-AF honorary "Item" Author: Paveway [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 03:50:53 07/26/02 Fri Greetings Omni-AF! There's been some debate as to what item we'll brand as our "own" or if we'll even get it. Some say it should be a weapon, some say armor. But assuming that we'll eventually get something branded "Omni-AF", I'd personally like some armor in our name. Seeing as Division 9 already has a gun in theirs. The name of the armor is still undecided, but I'm leaning towards the name "Omni-AF supreme". The armor, how I picture it, should resemble the OP in structure but be colored in purple/bloodish red. And bear our insignia ofcourse. Maybe a sabertoothed tiger, with the letters OAF someplace visable on the chest and arms. Perhaps only visable if you're actually IN Omni-AF, making the insignia disappear for none OAF members or something (got no clue how to code, wouldn't even know if it was even possible with current code). And to top it off, a cape. Not a cloak or a robe, but an honorary cape like the knights up in Camelot wears. Something to use when we're making public appearanses, and to clearly make us stand out from all the trivial riff-raff. Maybe make the requirement on the cape: Omni-AF ;) The reason I'm voting for armor, and not a gun, is because Division 9 already has a one in their name. I feel that having one in our name too kinda makes us look like copy-cats. No offence intended. the Division 9 Plasmaprojector is an excellent gun, and kudos to Div9 for getting it made. But I'd like something "we" could put "our" stamp on and call "our" own. Makes it more "unique" Thought I'd give some thoughts on the matter and share it with all of you. The reason is that OAF is often what others use to refer to us in what is intended to be a demeaning way. People might refer to us as the lazy oafs or the stupid oafs and might take away from the intended message of us being a serious and important orginization. I think O-AF would be better. OAF is fine if it is invisible to other players. But otherwise I think armor it is a great idea. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
