re: a possible PR event

Greetings. I would like to suggest the possibility of holding a great PR event in which we, the AF, along with the other well known Orgs, (i.e. Omni-Pol, Red Tape, etc.), hold a day of celebration to Omni, in a centralized area of Omni-1, by casting nano buffs, doing implants, etc. as a way of introducing ouseleves to the newer, and unaffiliated, citizens of Rubi-Ka. Along with our more veteran residents.

It would be a splendid day for all as we, the prominent Orgs(story guilds) have a chance to do a meet-and-greet with our fellow citizens, and employees, and introduce them to some level of storline roleplaying, and hopfully sparking in them an interest to join one of our Orgs.

Perhaps we can get some Green names to attend? Maybe we can get a "live" DJ?....Like I said, this is just an Idea. I would like your feedback as to if this is a good idea, or not. If you do like this idea, do you have any suggestions on how we can make this the best damn event on the planet? Think this is a bad idea? ALL feedback will be apprecciated.

Where would we hold such an event? If we should hold it in a bar, I would recommend Baboonz since it is large enough to contain a couple of persons. Rompa has a great staff though (not that we need one). Live DJ's play at baboons too, don't they? Well.. anyways, Valaik works at baboons I think. Maybe we could ask him some questions.. afterall.. it is a great location.

I was thinking of more like an outdoor setting. Perhaps in the little park south-east of the Rome/Trade Whom-pa.

I like this particular location, because its fenced in, its outdoors, has benches, and is a centralized location. Not only that, but we could "zone" it off for the different Orgs that would like to participate.

Any other feedback?

There are a couple areas that would be good. First off...need to make sure it's whompa accessible. Second, It should not be in Trade(too laggy these days). I like the idea of the Leet parks in Ent. They are easy to get too and more of a closed area. If we wanted a DJ, I would contact Altrek(sp, the head of Vixen) to find out some good DJ names, or just hold it in Baboons. We could even hold it in Omni-Pol barracks right outside Ent. (the OP in OmniForest). But anything farther than that would be hard to find. That is all. Keep up the good work Soldiers.
