Subject: Confusion...
In reply to: Rose 's message, "Re: Faster and Faster" on 15:39:14 08/12/02 Mon

The bay mare flung her head up in sudden alarm. More? She turned to Rose and Glory and flung her head about, her mane flailing here and there,
"This is nonesense." she said alloud, mostly to herself, "Stay close. We mustn't let them think we're stupid and powerless."

Desert Sunrise had, by now, galloped from the hill, completely ignoring that mare that refused to let him be. From the moment he found himself on this island it had been only mass confusion for him. First humans, then Sulton, then his own daughter, now more humans and immediate orders that the black horse probably expected him to follow.
The red dun stallion slowed to a trot as he neared the other horses. He wanted badly to meet with Rose and live happily in peace again, but it didn't look as if that was about to happen anytime soon. Instead, he nodded to her quickly, then proceeded toward Celtic Storm, looking at him quizzically, hoping for an explanation of things.

From where he stood (wherever that was), Hesperos raised his head, then shook it sadly. It was as he had expected it. But how they got there and back so soon was a complete mystery to the extrodinary unipeg. More of their technology, he figured.
Even so, upon hearing Celtic's orders, Hesperos did as he was told. Wings spread wide once again and horn lowered in a dangerous stance, Hesperos waited for the humans to arrive. This time, how that their identities were no longer hidden, Hesperos would tarry none. It was kill or be killed now...
