Subject: WCWL, BTU is here.

(Scene opens after the final EIWL show, in the backstage area. Spirits are low, many hang their heads. Steven Tyler is fighting tears, as he talks to former EIWL owner, and current WCWL owner Jason Toney. The scene fades, then
reopens out in the arena. A ring crew has started to pick up the remaining pieces of the ring that had been blown up by BK. Panning the stadium, Nick Kage is spotted sitting in the middle section on the right side. He's still in his wrestling tights, and sweat is still glistening on him. His head is in his hands, as he stares at the gum and spilled drinks on the floor. He looks up, eyes red, and runs his hands through his already messed up brown hair. He sighs and leans back, taking in the remains of EIWL. Suddenly, Nick feels a hand on his shoulder. He jumps, and turns to see Kris Ashe. Ashe is wearing blue jeans and a black shirt that reads "$uper$tar" in red)

ASHE: Whoa, Nicky, calm down.

(Nick shoots a disgusted look at his old stable mate, then sits back down.Ashe walks around and takes the seat to Nick's left)

ASHE: C'mon, man, don't be like that. We're blood. All I wanna do is talk.

(Nick gives Ashe a "Well?" kinda look)

ASHE: Look, Nicky, I know some of my decisions have been bad, but I wanna get back on track.

(Nick stops Ashe)

NICK: You turned your back on your family, BTU, and now you want me to forgive you? It's not that easy, Kris.

(Ashe gives Nick a sympathetic look)

ASHE: I know, it was a mistake. But, once you're BTU, you're always BTU. You know that. I guess it just took Aaron and Shane beating my ass to help me see that.

(Nick grins)

NICK: That was pretty good. So, you're sayin' they beat some sense into ya?

(Ashe smiles)

ASHE: Yep. Honest.

(Nick's face falls for a moment)

NICK: Yeah, but now that EIWL is gone, where is BTU gonna go?

ASHE: Haven't you heard about Jason's new "project"?

(Nick gives Ashe a curious look)

ASHE: WCWL? It's based outta Cali. He's startin' from the ground up. No TV shows, no nationwide exposure. Just house shows out in Cali.

NICK: Well, how come I haven't heard anything?

ASHE: Cause you've been sitting out here pouting. Lookin' at the burnt up pieces of ring layin' everywhere.

NICK: Well, who all's going?

ASHE: Sticky, Jay Thug, Travis, Shammy, me.And Jason's recruiting some new guys.

NICK: Well, what about Liz and Haylee?

ASHE: Move 'em out to Cali.

NICK: Well, I guess it's not that far from Texas.

ASHE: We get another chance at greatness with BTU, Nicky.

(Nick stares down at the charred pieces of the ring mat, remembering all of the incredible moments he has had in this very ring.)

ASHE: So, are we family again?

(Nick stands up and grins)

NICK: I was told that once you're BTU, you never leave.

(Ashe's eyes gleam, and he smiles.)

ASHE: Nicky, me and you are gonna show WCWL what Better Than U is all about. It's about damn time that The $uper$tar gets back into the swing of things.

NICK: Better late than never, I guess..

(Nick laughs and begins to walk back to the backstage area,
for some final goodbyes. Ashe looks down, then looks back up)

ASHE: Really funny, Nick. Well, at least things are back to normal.

(Ashe hurries to catch up with Nick, and the scene moves back down to the ring area, where a crew member picks up a piece of cloth.it's a burnt piece of the EIWL logo from the mat. The man picks up a trash bag beside of him and throws the piece away as the scene fades to black)
