Hi Ellie. Samhain (Halloween) is the day that the veil between this world and the other is the thinnest, this makes it very easy to contact those who've passed on. You don't really have to do anything special other than prepare yourself because it can be a bit scary. If you are really scared, your loved ones won't let you know they're there because they don't WANT to scare you. Don't listen to the nay sayers that will tell you that you'll open the door to the evil spirits and they'll run amuck on our world.....that's just nonsense. You may not get any physical stuff to happen but listen to your thoughts as this is how they communicate with us. So simple as a thought that pops in your head for no apparent reason. All I can tell you is just sit around and either think about or talk to other people about the ones you want to come to you and they will. Once you get used to it, you'll find that other people's loved ones will come to you and you'll have a name pop into your head....or maybe a decription of a person. Don't be afraid to ask those around you if the name or description sounds familiar to them, 9 times out of 10 someone will say,"I had an uncle (aunt, grandfather, etc.) by that name!"
