Mijn hart is verscheurd
door pijn en verdriet
Het gemis is intens
Dat verandert niet

Zoveel leed in m'n ziel
om eenzaamheid die schrijnt
Om een put soms zo diep
om het leven dat kwijnt

Mijn tranen stromen
van een lijden ongehoord
van pijn ongezien
van zielen doorboord

Dit is mijn pijn
Het leed dat ik lijd
Het gemis wat ik voel
De pijn die zo snijdt

Het verdriet zo diep
Eenzaamheid verborgen
En toch...draag ik door
in Liefde geborgen
