Zoveel misleiding en verwarring
over licht en duisternis
Zo nodig is Uw leiding
Zonder U zoveel gemis

Mijn verdriet hierom is intens en groot
Onschuldigen zo voorgelogen
Diep is dan de zielenood
Beangstigd en bedrogen

door degene die zich voordoet
als een engel van het licht
maar er is in hem geen goed
en zijn leugens komen aan het Licht

Here Jezus, U bent Waarheid
en Uw genade en grote liefde
zijn het die ons hart bevrijdt
van de angst die ons doorkliefde

Breng troost Heer in deze pijn
Schijn Uw Licht op de weg die we gaan
Laat ons in Uw warmte zijn
en vul met Liefde ons bestaan

In U is vervulling, wijsheid en inzicht
U bent het die ogen opent
In Uw Licht zien wij het licht
Vol vertrouwen op Uw goedheid hopend
