mijn kracht heeft een grens

alle opgespaarde tranen
huilt mijn stil-zijn nu

gebroken in mijn hart
kijk ik in jouw ogen
en zie dat je me mist

nu ik niet uit mijn schulp kan kruipen
machteloos gevangen kind
angst het dichtste bij en alles heel ver weg

heel mijn hart
sta me dit zwijgen toe

ik hunker naar genade
