"Intake"

Ik hoorde de naam van de instelling
Ik zocht er informatie over op
Het klonk als 'eindelijk hulp'
En dat alleen al
Maakte mijn wantrouwen sterk

Ik zocht opnieuw naar informatie
Ik belde de instelling op
Het was inmiddels maanden later
En het vergde vereende krachten
Van al mijn binnenmensen

Ik wachtte totdat er tijd was
Ik hoopte dat men bij deze instelling dan toch wel....
Het loonde de moeite
En ik mocht op intake komen
Deze keer kon dat echt

Ik kwam op intake
Ik kwam voor nog een gesprek

Het maakt me zo onzeker
Want ik weet niet
Wat andere mensen beslissen zullen
Over iets wat zoveel invloed kan hebben
Op mijn leven

Nu ik eindelijk in staat ben
Om hulp te vragen
Wordt van me verwacht dat ik ook nog eens
Geduldig afwacht
Totdat de volledige procedure is doorlopen
