nachtwake

kan niet slapen, ik
hoor op de trap de stemmen, die
stampen en fakkels dragen, ik
heb niet eens een trap, in
het huis waar ik nu woon. toch
hoor ik ze in mijn gedachten, en
ik ben bang.

dus slaap ik maar, met
de helft van mijn hoofd, de
ene helft van mijn gefragmenteerde 'ik', de
anderen blijven wakker, zij
waken, of
durven niet te slapen, in
de lange nacht.

welterusten - wat
is dat nou voor een woord?
