Ik mis je
ik mis je zo erg
ik ben mezelf kwijtgeraakt
en ik blijf maar zoeken
waar ik gebleven ben

Mijn hart doet pijn
ik ben de weg kwijt
het is zo donker
waar is het licht gebleven?
Waar is het Licht?
ik kan het niet meer vinden

Ik zoek een hand
een hart dat luistert
een arm om me heen
het doet zoveel pijn
zo ontzettend veel pijn

Ik hou het niet vol
niet zo alleen
ik kan niet vertrouwen
en toch heb ik lief
o God het doet pijn

Ik heb zo gebeden
U weet toch hoeveel?
elke dag riep ik maar nu
zijn mijn tranen op
en mijn keel doet zeer

Ik kan U niet vinden
ik snap niet die pijn
Here Jezus, dit lijden
ik houd het niet vol
maar ik heb toch geen keus?

U bent de Goede Herder
ik heb U zo nodig want
mijn hart doet zo zeer
ik breek in stukjes
en niemand merkt het
