Iemand vertelde me eens dit verhaal.

Er was een aardbeving geweest.
Bij het zoeken naar overlevenden, waren de reddingswerkers op een klaslokaal gestuit, dat onder het puin overeind gebleven was.
De kinderen zaten bij elkaar.
'Waarom zitten jullie hier zo rustig?' vroeg een reddingswerker hen verwonderd, want als ze overlevenden vonden, waren die meestal wanhopig of in paniek, en niet kalm, zoals deze kinderen.
De kinderen wezen naar een jongen.
Hij vertelde wat hij de andere kinderen had gezegd: 'rustig maar, want mijn vader heeft me iets beloofd: wat er ook gebeurt, ik kom je zoeken, en ik stop niet met zoeken tot ik je vind.'

Dat is hoe de Schepper ook is: hij zoekt tot hij ons vindt :)
