.|.silence. relaxs near darkened sea's start, crania hung low 'long with thorns laying 'pon broken jeweled crown. lantern's lazily sweep o'er surroundings, scratching and painting th' surface. plume absent mindedly cracks 'gainst side then falls t' rest. battered soul peers through th' rusted bars silently, pacing back and forth. hmm, if eyes are th' windows t' one's soul, your not seein much in this case. nothing more then an aging battered widow, blemished with more scars then known possible. snort shatters th' silence, broken glass laying 'pon ground. spins 'round 'pon razor, slinking 'nto what was still the unknown t' 'er, soon t' become somewhat familier. crosses line, bay pelt melting 'way 'nto th' may depths darkened light beholds. candle-lit lanterns scan quickly, weaving 'round bodies, just out o' stretched arms reach. veil o' leaves merge t'gether.where one's start and finish is, hell if i know. thorns entwine, mangled tresses falling 'pon both sides, cascading down in a network o' tangles and burrs. bird o'erhead silently makes its flee, flapping wings 'pon thin air caught. mirage of dreams. per'aps all sh' is doing is living up t' 'er name, nothing more and nothing less. rare. t' come out within daylight, only happens once. illusion. deception. a mirage within ones dream, faded and crushed. circles back 'round, slowly slithering back. end o' movement nears once line is brought forth t' view, yet t' emerge. hesitance. veil o' leaves sweeps o'er face, crania raising t' glimpse better through th' cracks. lanterns dully shine forth, candles nearly blown out. lids close 'pon lanterns, candles burned out, drifting 'way 'nto restless sleep.|.
