Gannon held her close to him, kissing her hair gently as he stared off into the distance. His mind elsewhere as well, worried. He had to go see Iris, there was no doubt about it.... (ok.. i have to add this just for the whole fight between he and Kin to make sense) Gannon bid farewell to Akira, just for a day.

--A day later--

Gannon returns, looking rather sad about something. He drug his feet, but his hands were clentched tightly into fists as if he were furious about something. He walks up to the cabin and forces a smile to Akira when he sees her. "I'm home..."
