Here's a new poem I made!
Fairy Boy
He is fairy boy,
He's the sparkle in your lawn at night,
You used to be friends,
but you grew up,
and you have no need for his sparkling light.
What do you think now?
It happens to all,
We all grow out of our fairies,
and they don't come when we call.
He's a fairy boy,
The one with magic wings,
He flutters around,
Floating high, floating low
with his dew-kissed wings.
A beautiful song he sings,
His voice can cure heartache and many other things.
He used to sing to you, but now he sings to me.
Fairy boy is looking after someone else now,
You don't need him anymore.
You'll soon forget he ever existed,
but you'll get a warm feeling every time
you see that little light shine,
Cos' your subconscious knows,
It's him checking up on you.
He's still there to guide you.
He's a fairy boy,
The one with magic wings,
He flutters around,
Floating high, floating low
with his dew-kissed wings.
A beautiful song he sings,
His voice can cure heartache and many other things.
He used to sing to you, but now he sings to me.
Fairy boy will flash back into your life when you need him the most.
Look in his crystal eyes as he sings,
Notice how he hasn't aged,
He's been left untouched by the world,
Fairy boy is truly a miracle.
As soon as he shows up, he leaves again,
All you have is his song.
He's a fairy boy,
The one with magic wings,
He flutters around,
Floating high, floating low
with his dew-kissed wings.
A beautiful song he sings,
His voice can cure heartache and many other things.
He used to sing to you, but now he sings to me.
