Mare watches as ears flick back and forth before picking up a sound. Hearing the mare in the next stall, Thistle and her foal with the humans. Mare snorts, ears pinning back to Jason as she shifts, moving to in front of her foal, protecting him.

Colt backs up as he mother walks in front of him, sensing something was wrong for her to do this as he stands by her shoulder.
