Macedonia: The opposition to announce its stance on Prime Minister�s statement
Skopje, - The unified opposition, dubbed �For Macedonia Together�, is to announce its final stance on Prime Minister Ljubco Georgievski�s statement that the opposition failed to meet the terms for snap polls.
Prime Minister Georgievski said for Macedonian Radio Television that the unified opposition failed to garner a 10-percent advantage over the ruling coalition parties VMRO-DPMNE and DA. He held out a promise of snap polls if only the opposition garnered a 10-percent advantage at the municipal elections.
Based on the unofficial results of the first election round, the four-party opposition coalition claims that it had garnered a convincing advantage over VMRO-DPMNE and DA. In case Prime Minister fails to keep his promise on early elections, the opposition announced on several occasions that it will activate the so-called �Plan B�.
