Subject: A day at the stadium(Russa, Goliath, Carpenter, Blair Dante)(Retry)


The scene is FedEx Stadium, where the Washington Redskins are hosting the Philadelphia Eagles. With Eagles up 10-7 late in the first half, we see Noah Dante and three beautiful young ladies sitting in a luxury box. Veteran journeyman reporter Nate Woodward catches up to Dante to get a few words.

{Nate} “Hey Mr. Dante, long time no see.”

{Noah} “Well, well, well…if it isn’t my old friend Nate Woodward. How the hell have you been, man?”

{Nate} “Well, believe it or not, it looks like I am going to be seeing a lot more of you in the future. I just got a position with the GWA. And wouldn’t you know, my first assignment was to track you down and get a minute of your time. Is that cool?”

{Nate} “Come on, Nate, you know I always have a few minutes for you. What’s on your mind?”

{Nate} “Well, I guess the first thing I want to hear about is why you can into Insurrection last week the way you did? I mean, you came in almost like a schoolyard bully. First, you attack Blair Dante, then you completely dominate your match against three men, follow that with the awesome power of the attack on Goliath, then you wrap up with a brutal beating on the Olympic champ, Chris Carpenter. Why?”

{Noah} “Where to start…how about I address Blair Dante first. Two words. Bad Decision. That is what he made by not changing his name after he saw I was back. And if he fails to do so, I will continue to beat him down every time I see him.”

{Nate} “Ok, fair enough. Now what about Carpenter? What did he do to you?”

{Noah} “Nate, it’s not what he did, it’s what he didn’t do. He didn’t come to me and acknowledge the fact that he could never be the champion I could and hand me that belt. Now, because of his lack of good judgment, he will remember every time he sees me that I own him. I will eventually get his ass in the ring and take what should be mine, and that is the Olympic Title.”

{Nate} “So this week you get to face two men that should be well aware of your ability, and that’s Goliath and Joe Russa. What can we expect from you in this match?”

{Noah} “The same thing you can expect every time I come to the ring…destruction, mayhem, carnage. You can expect to see the three of us in the exact same position as last week. Joe Russa walking off like I just killed his puppy, Goliath in the fetal position, crying like a beaten child, and The Irresistible One with his hand raised in victory. See, these two guys have no clue whatsoever of what it takes to be a real winner, to get those big wins against someone that actually has talent and isn’t just someone who is filling a spot on the card. Now, I know you can probably say that I haven’t had any competition yet, and after this week, that statement will still hold true. But the difference is that I can get the big wins. I can beat the guys who are supposedly at the top of their game. I have beaten men fifty times the caliber of Goliath and Joe Russa. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that Goliath retired after the beating he suffered at the hands of Cyrus and I. He may be big, but that’s about it. And I think I proved last week that there ain’t a man in the GWA that is safe from the wrath of Mr. Irresistible. Goliath is gonna get introduced to more than just a few seconds of pain at the hands of Noah Dante because this time I am gonna slow things down abit, you know, enjoy the sound of his bones cracking and just take in the joy that I get from hearing him scream in pain. Now, as for Russa, man, that kid’s mouth is writing checks his ass can’t cash. I saw this interview where he says that I have no talent, that he is so much better than I am. Ok, I’ll let him talk a little garbage. In fact, let me help him. You’re right Joe, I have no talent. You are so much better than I am. I don’t know what I was thinking last week as I went through not one, not two, but three pieces of trash to get the win. I must have been dreaming when I was putting my boot in your grill all night. It must have been a hallucination when I though I saw you walking back to the dressing room with your head hanging because you just watched The Irresistible One put you out in defeat. I don’t know what I was thinking. So, let’s see if we can look at this in the realm of reality. The realm where Noah Dante put six men in the prime of their careers on the ground. How does that look? When you have guy that comes in and takes out an eighth of the GWA roster without breaking a sweat?”

{Nate} “Well, it looks to me like these guys weren’t ready for you, Noah. It looks like you have come in with a bang. But, that said, the question is now what will you do from here on out?”

{Noah} “Look around you, Nate. It’s a fine day in America. Now, Joe Russa is probably in the gym, hoping to get just a little more training, even though it’s not gonna help. Goliath is most likely laying in bed, still hurting from the last time he came face to face with me. Carpenter is probably down at the Blue Oyster bar getting his groove on with five guys dressed like the Village People. But where is The Irresistible One? He’s sitting in a room surrounded by absolutely gorgeous women, drinking Dom, watching a pretty decent football game. Not a worry in the world. Not one. And when I leave here, we’re all going back to my suite and no one sleeps till dawn, if you get me. So, how about we end this here, watch the game, and you can tag along for as long as you like.”

{Nate} “Well, I do remember how we used to things back in the day, and I guess I have done what I need to. I’m down. (Looks at the camera) Well, there you have it. Noah Dante: Man of big words or man of truth? I am sure that in the next few weeks, everyone will want to be in this guy’s shoes. This is Nate Woodward, thanks for your time.”

The camera fades as Donovan McNabb runs into the endzone.
