於美國洛杉磯享負盛名的爵士樂隊Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band，於2000年成立，他們首張唱片 ”Swingin’ with the Fences”，是史上首張商業Audio-DVD獲得格林美獎項提名；連同第二張大碟“XXL”，樂隊共獲得5項格林美獎項提名。他們的音樂被報章L.A. Times譽為「結合了清脆利落的準確音色及熱情澎湃的獨奏」、「打破年齡界限」的搖擺爵士音樂。

Gordon Goodwin，作為樂隊的領班，亦是一名出色的作曲及編曲音樂人，共榮獲三次艾美獎音樂獎項。曾參與多位著名歌手的大碟創作及演奏，包括Ray Charles、Quincy Jones、David Foster、Christina Aguilera等。除電視、電影及唱片製作外，Gordon亦與各地著名的交響樂團合作。
