Subject: Rest of the season

I, for one, am just going to watch and enjoy as the season comes to a close. My team will try, most likely picking up a win or 2 along the line. The real fun, however will come from watching the PoonTangens go after Judd's season victory total. It will be seeing if Calves can "kick" the PoonTangens for a 2nd time in the playoffs. It will be seeing if Bradley Bell of the Bonecrushers can go into unchartered waters. Brad's not used to being anywhere but the NIT....he is the 2000 and 2001 NIT Champ (back to back). It will be watching as the Buffalo Turds, who have not finished higher than 13th since 1998 can battle deep into December. It will be watching the Burritos struggle and the Replacements excel, after Q tried to swindle his buddy by trading a couple pieces of crap for 2 "starters". It will be watching Judd scrape, struggle and sweat...as he attempts to not be in the NIT for a 2nd consecutive year. It will be watching the battle between Hoosier Daddy and Hot Gravy, as they battle over who has the "suckiest" team. It will be the Old Timers...riding the coattails of their one (and only) good player...not to a league crown, but for a banner of Mike Bednarz to display proudly with his State Seniors golf title from this fall. It will be watching the Skin Boat, who woodshedded Koolen a month ago, out of Steve Smith and Chad Pennington, and have caught fire since, only to watch Koolen fall twice this weekend. While losing twice, Koolen actually clinched his sorry division, the only division with only 1 team above .500. It will be watching the Titos...well...uh...doing what they usually do...win 6 or so ballgames and qualify for the NIT. And then there are the Gamecocks. Those lovable losers...kind of like the Houston Texans of the league. They try hard, but really, you just know they're going to lose.
To those of you who are still fighting it out...Good Luck.
