content -- Midnight Revenge, 16:13:59 07/25/02 Thu
Looking at the pup like her mother had, sort of upset of her silence in a way. The winter and the breeding period made her always upset, her last pack were much more cruel and harsh then here. She wondered if the new female had once been in a similar pack?
Wolves who were hard and followed the 'old rules' often had. She had learned that wolves born here had no or little respect for higher ranks. Not even near what were demanded. "Forgive me being curious," she said directed to the female, in what she hoped were a careless tone. "I just wondered what your past are, having a child but being a loner."

Slight Sigh. -- Sable and Maela, 10:17:54 07/26/02 Fri
"Well I was born in a pack in a different land, more strict than most packs at Northern Sunrise. I was born of alphas, and was alpha pup. I would be ruling over my old pack now if I hadn't 'fallen in love'," she says, restraining a snarl. "Yes, I fell in love and bred without permission. But don't worry, I will never be so foolish as to do that again," she says bitterly, knowing that Midnight Revenge would not appreciate breeding without permission, "I was sort of 'disowned' by my family because of it, and with good reason I suppose. And the male who I loved deserted me because he thought I was ruining his reputation and found a more 'appropriate' mate and tried to pass off our pups as if he had bred with his mate, and not me, even though everyone knew the truth. Maela was the only one who wouldn't leave me," she says, eyes softening slightly at the sight of her daughter, wondering how she could have been so cruel to her just a few moments ago. "I came here to Northern Sunrise because I was so sick of the pittying looks and snubbing of noses at me. Hopefully get a new start. See they were being cruel to Maela, and she didn't deserve that, not for my mistake," she finishes, hoping that Midnight Revenge wouldn't dislike her for her past, or distrust her... which was worse in Sable's eyes.

nod -- Midnight Revenge, 13:41:46 07/26/02 Fri
"I see," she said, looking down at the small female. It made sense why the child were so shy, if she had been mistreted all her life by other wolves. She weren't sure why the story didn't change her view of Sable, maybe it were the fact that Sable had learned her lesson. Maybe more cruel then she should have... "I think I can relate somehow," she said with a crocked smile. Opening her moth to tell her own story, but deciding not to. It weren't the right time. And she had spotted Silent Rain in the clearing, too... With a ecusing (hu?) she left Sable and Maela to 'greet' her.
