Love is knowing you'll do absolutly anyhting for them....whether its to hold them, kiss them, to giving them up, or dying for them. To me, you know that you love someone if, when you see them, your heart physically hurts, feels like its being taken out of your chest and beat on. I always thought that when people said that last sentence, it was just a metaphore. But its not..you really feel it..you really experience the pain. When you love someone, you can gaze into thier eyes and never see their bad traits....you see how beautiful that person is, and never want to hurt them. But love also means sacrifice...it hurts to do it, but sometimes you got to let them go and let them fly on thier own, in what your hoping will just be a little while. Love never disappears, never goes away, once your in love with somone you always are....no matter if you lose and how you lose them, or if they are apart of your life, some how. That is, to me, love.
