Today, I was riding my Gilera home (in my no 4 uniform). One the way, I saw a TP on the road shoulder, so immediately, I try to speed up and siam, cause of modified pipe.....

I was on the first lane, where he came beside me. Followed me for a while, then asked me to stop at raod shoulder next to Police Academy. I was thinking to myself, 'siao liao, sure ganna book by him one'. But I kept calm, took out my helmet, waiting for him, see what he wants to say.

He walked around my scoot, looked at me,' where are u going?'... 'well, sir, I'm going to changi camp'.... 'This pipe not oringinal one right?'.... 'Eh, yes sir'... 'would u like to follow me back to sim ming?', Came the reply.

'Eh, sir, can give me a chance or not? My oringinal yan gong in the shop, repairing due to hole.'...

Then the TP walked around my scoot again, and replied, ' Do u know that your yan gong very obvious (replied in hokkien), if I dun catch u, other Tp sure catch u one....

'Yes sir, my yan gong will be repaired end of this week, sir, give me a chance, as this yan gong motorshop asked me to use first, as my scoot is my only transport.'

The TP looked at me again, then he say nicely, 'U go back to your camp, park it there and only ride when the oringinal yan gong is repaired, I give u a chance but dun abuse it...' After this, he started his bike and moved off.

After today's lesson, it taught me one thing:

1) In uniform, u gain one thing from the TP, respect, if u give him due respect.

2) If a TP askes u to stop, remember, always remember to take out your helmet, as a show of respect.

3) Talk to them nicely, always address them as sir, and they will be happy in their heart.

4) Dun be too kwai lan, cause I've seen them booked even ah peks before.

5) Not all tps are as kwai lan as we think....

6) PIE see beh many TPs (Especially in day time), as this few days as I was going home, I seen one everyday, maybe ops or something like that.

Well, just something to start off with this forum.... he he he!!
