The night was late, and the air, chilly. A woman was walking to her car after a long night of working at the Futsukayoi. The parking lot was nearly empty. The woman was half way to her car when she was intercepted by a man.
"Hey baby, what's a little kitty like you doing out here all alone?" The man asked, as he advanced towards her. The woman swallowed, and started backing away. "Whoa, where are you goin?" At that, the man started to advance more quickly, and the woman turned to run. He tackled her, and she turned over to kick him square in the jaw.
"Oh, you're gonna pay for that." He said, right before slapping the woman across the face.
"HELP! Help!" The woman screamed, but nobody answered. The man, whos lip was now bleeding sat on top of the kicking, and bucking woman's stomache, who desperately tried to get away. He held her arms, and leaned into her face. He licked it, and she could smell the stench of alcohol on his breath.
She knew what was going to happen, and knew that there was nothing she could do, she whimpered as the man ripped open her pants. Just then, the man fell off the woman, and grabbed his head. "Uh what the fuck?" The man looked up, and his sight landed on a calm, collected, but very intimidating looking man. The drunk man stood up and ran.
The woman did not cower away from the man. She recognized him, and smiled as he helped her up. "Apadrinaro." She said as she hugged him.
"Are you ok?" Apadrinaro asked.
"Yes." The woman held Apadrinaro close, and smiled. "Thank you"
"Lets get you to your car." Apadrinaro excorted her to her car, and opened the door.
"What are doing? I'm driving? You're sitting in the passenger side silly." It was obvious that the woman was enfatuated with the local legend.
"Sorry, I have to be going. I'm supposed to meet my b- some friends, inside"
"Well, atleast let me buy you a drink sometime, how about that?" The woman was pressing up against Apadrinaro, who was now caught in between the woman, and her car.
"Maybe I'll take a rain check sometime." Apadrinaro pushed her aside, and walked into the Futsukoyai. The woman thought it was odd that the bouncer just let him in without giving him the usual 3rd degree that he gives.
"My name's Kate" She yelled as Apadrinaro went in.
