I firmly feel that Northbridge should be ranked #1 in Central Mass because of it's unblemished record. There is nothing that says a team that is #1 in D1 is automatically the best team. Since those teams don't play each other, Northbridge gets my vote because of it's record. I've seen both teams play and Northbridge would match up well with Leominster. Usually D1 teams have a lot of depth thru every position, and Leominster is no exception, however, Northbridge has depth thruout it's lineup also, so all things being equal, with an undefeated season going so far, Northbridge is without a doubt, the best in CMASS.

I'd have a tendency to agree with footballfan. Although Leominster is a D1 team, that does not qualify it to be ranked #1. It's record is not as good as Northbridge's and since both teams don't play each other, I think that it's logical to go with the team with the best record. If Leominster had beaten Everett and Brockton, that would be entirely different, but it didn't beat those teams. And since Northbridge doesn't play Everett or Brockton, it's record would have to stand on it's own merits. My vote goes to Northbridge.

no way, the devils beat stj by 42! Leominster is simply the best, played Everet to within one point, and Brockton had to be the worest game they've played all year. Northbridge doesn't play anyone, while LHS plays top teams (STJ, SPM, FHS, EVERET AND BROCKTON) Devils are the best hands down

Im from leominster and have watched them play, and i went to one northbridge game, northbridge is clearly the better team, and "best teams" dont have losses. It isnt like northbridge plays to their competition, like they have been sneaking by teams, they consistently beat teams by over 40 all year, and they will do this to uxbridge too in a game that will be no contest.
