Subject: Hudson vs. Gansett

Hudson defeated Gansett 31-16 Friday night in as good a high school football game as you could ask for. Both teams had something on the line which made the game all the more exciting. The game had a lot of drama - key plays on offense, defense, and special teams play by both Hudson and Gansett. A few key penalties, and a couple of turnovers that turned the tide of the game. It was a game of momentum by both teams....Hudson had the "mo" in the first half....Gansett had the "mo" in the second, but the fumble they gave up was a killer and the momentum swung back to Hudson. I know it was disappointing to the Gansett fans, but even they would have to admit that the drama of the game was exciting. Gansett came back and had that momentum with the score 24-16 with plenty of time left. But with the fumble, it stopped them in their tracks, allowing Hudson to score the insurance touchdown. Great game.

Actually, the West Boylston-Clinton game was pretty good. A 4th and 12 flee-flicker by Clinton late in the 4th quarter was the difference. Both teams played well both on offense and defense. It was a great game to watch.

Can't argue with that.....a one point game with that much on the line for both teams is a great game.

My bad, it was a halfback pass...Thompson to West.
