Northbridge competes in stronger D-2 (Burncoat,Southbridge, Shepherd Hill, Uxbridge) Clinton in a weak D-3 (Hudson?)
Northbridge has proven better in a better league.

I say Clinton maybe its cuz im biased to this area of CMASS but ive been a Hudson fan for years, went to Hudson years ago and they have had our number every year it seems, say what u want about D3 but last year Clinton blew out everything that came their way whether it was Hudson or Nashoba, or gardner or Southbridge, only having lost 2 games in the last 3 years and 3 straight super bowl titles and probably another this year sorry till someone beats them Clinton has my vote for #1

I haven't seen Northbridge play, but the accounts in the paper seem to show them as superior to the opposition. Clinton played well against two of three opponents, while Hudson's defense stuffed Clinton's running game and passing game, limiting them to 5 first downs in the game. Clinton's special teams, particularly their punter kept Hudson in the hole nearly the entire game and while Hudson may have had an edge in first downs, that was only due to Hudson having more of a passing game. So, based on the fact that Hudson, a good team in it's own right, stifled Clinton's offense leads me to believe that Northbridge is the better team.

lol...cmsportsfan ur point is respectfully taken but u'll never get over it will u? In anycase, i'll leave u with this "hard work will always beat talent when talent does'nt work hard" Clinton works hard and will rarely beat themselves and this is why i believe no matter who they play, they find a way to win. Advantage Clinton!!

I dont know who is better but what i can say being a member of the team is when we scrimaged clinton it was a tie. I think in a real game northbridge would win.

clinton won that scrimmage by 2. and just like cmsportsfan said clinton's special teams won it against hudson. so think about it clinton beats northbridge in a scrimmage even without special teams.....so who knows in a real game. i think its favoring clinton with good special teams and a good offense that traded points with northbridge. and i don't know how good northbridge's D has come since, but i know clinton's has tightened up alot since that scrimmage. clinton would win that game.

Only way to settle it would to be to schedule a real game between Clinton and Northbridge. Teams can schedule new teams this year, they should do it!

It's funny to look back and see what the thoughts were at the beginning of the season now that it's all unfolded. There's only Thanksgiving to play and people are now wondering who's better, Northbridge or Leominster. Safe to say N'bridge woulda creamed Clinton by 40+.
