He also knew she was right about Harlequin. He probally would still love her no matter what but it pleased him to see that she cared that much for him. He only wished he could have said goodbye. He was starting a new life, turning a new leaf. He had fallen down the last hill ( so well put) and was now ready to go up the next. He smiled in thanks as he watch the female disapper in her ball of fire. Even if he couldn't have thanked her in person, he hoped she knew how he felt. He longed to see her again, for she was like the sister he had never had. She was a wonderful female with a good mind and heart. She knew how to tempt a male and life would be easy for her....better without him in it. He gave one last farewell glace before nuzzleing the pregnate female before letting her slip away. He then turned to Harelequin...God she was beautiful. He smiled as he gazed upon her and neared her slowly. He lowered his head and waited for her to come to him. He was accepting her...would she have them though? His heart beat faster and faster as the moments slipped by. He dared not look up...he only wanted to feel her soft kiss on his muzzle...waiting and waiting...seconds seemed like long minutes. Thoughts ran through his mind rapidly, but they were all good. It was a flashback to his life as a yearling...the on and on until this moment where it paused with a shudder. Then it skipped along to what life might be like with her...with Harlequin as his mate.
