It is true that even fully vaccinated pups can contract Parvo. Usually it is due to vaccine being bad or a weak immune system. If the pup had been vaccinated at the vet more than likely the vaccine is good. In the case of this pup, I think it was closer to 10 weeks there fore the time frame for a second shot would be correct. If Sam has vet papers to prove that it was given that should be good enough. Now if Sam has parvo on her property why didn't the other pups show any signs? Why didn't her current litter contract it? Parvo can live in the ground for months. Parvo is a common problem in south Texas. I work at a clinic and have seen numerous cases in the past 3 months. Some were fully vaccinated pups. So if it was parvo that killed this pup, the buyers should have called sooner and they should have sent paperwork to back up their claim. Now I don't know many breeders that would replace any pup without proof be it parvo or hip dysplasia.
