Subject: Working Dog Seminar with Paul Cipparone

Canine Concepts Pittsburgh is hosting its 2nd annual Working Dog Seminar with Paul Cipparone scheduled for June 24 - 26, 2011 at Agan Park, Tarentum, PA, in Southwest Pennsylvania near Ohio and WV.

Paul Cipparone has been actively involved in dog training for 33 years. He currently owns and operates the Wellington County School for dog training and security service dogs. Paul was among the founding directing members of the American Ring Federation (ARF) in 1986 and has served on the Board of Directors of the North American Ring Association (NARA) for ten years. He has titled numerous dogs to Ring III and Schutzhund III. Paul is a trial licensed judge for the United Kennel Club: Service Dogs of American Working Dogs and K9 Pro Sport Working Dogs.

Last year, we had 2 Boerboels in attendance (my 2), a variety of Molossers including 2 Corsos and 1 Dogo, and some herders. Paul went over all 3 disciplines of Schutzhund -- protection, tracking and obedience, and he also covered Ring Sport. This year I understand there are already 5 Boerboels scheduled to be in attendance, ranging in age from 10 months to 3 years.

I will post additional information as I receive it. There is unlimited room for auditors, but the number of working participants will be capped. There will also be a lot of foundation work for beginner dogs and puppies.

For additional information, please feel free to let me know. You can also visit Canine Concepts website:

The Canine Concepts website has a photo of my boy, Jaf, working with Paul at last year's seminar. Canine Concepts' website hasn't been updated yet with this year's event, but I am sure the website will be updated shortly.

These dates are confirmed -- June 24 - 26, 2011. I can't wait!

Sharon
