Subject: Good News for Zoey!

I am happy to announce that my friend Julie J, someone extremely active in Boerboel Rescue, rescued Zoey into a lifetime home. This is Zoey's original photoshow:

Zoey's Photo Show

Julie and her husband adopted Zoey yesterday, 04/28/2011. Zoey had been waiting for a forever since January 10, 2011, and living in a kennel was really starting to stress her out mentally and physically. She's a rescued brood bitch from another irresponsible backyard breeder in Central PA. Zoey was born on 02/18/2007 and is in very rough shape. She'll be seeing Julie's vet, Dr. Bob, on Saturday and then will be seeing Dr. Pardo as soon as they can get her in. She is very weak and shaky in her back end -- possibly 2 torn knees, and hopefully nothing more. She's obviously been bred out and is in miserable shape from it, but nothing has broken her happy, silly nature. She is thriving in her new environment. She is dog aggressive, so Julie will be taking her time rehabilitating her very slowly with the rest of the family. They are in no rush, and hopefully in time Zoey can become a full fledged pack/family member in Julie's home. Julie provided a photo show and YouTube video in her new home:

Julie, thank you for your continued work in Boerboel and molosser rescue. You continue to amaze me with your selfless devotion to these dogs!
