Joe please do not take this the wrong way. If the dog has nerve issues you aint gonna fix it. If it has issues with legs etc. you can deduct from there.

Unfortunately this is the kind of thing that you get when everyone is a "breeder". Especially with a breed that is a wreck at best. When a working functioning breed is selected to meet an "appraisal" it won't be long until they can't work anymore and begin to fall apart. (anyone who wants to argue that point is 1. a fool 2. wearing blinders 3. just living in an alternate reality)

There are really only a few breeders of these dogs that I would even consider. Even amongst those breeders a dog with true working drives is a crapshoot.

We test, train and work dogs in the real world. So we have to have dogs that are capable and sound. The only way to get to that is to breed selectively. In order to do that you have to start with something...... the breed has a limited pool of genetics to work from. In that limited pool are few actual sound working dogs. THAT IS A FACT!!! When a working dog has no function and no criteria to qualify him for work it goes downhill from there. Imagine breeding race horses and not actually expecting them to run a race but to "look" like the race horses did when they actually ran races.

I would get my business wrapped up with said breeder and move on.

I will be happy to recommend a breeder if your interested. Feel free to contact me.
